Handicap Tourney

70TH ANNUAL GCBA HANDICAP TOURNAMENT 

The 70th annual GCBA Handicap Tournament starts February 18, 2012. The Team Event will be held at Baden Bowl in New Baden. Singles and Doubles will be held at Hi Top Bowl in Highland. You may bowl singles and doubles as often as you desire. However, you can cash only once in singles. In doubles you can cash more than once with different partners. This is in accordance to USBC Rule 315. 

This year’s tournament will use last season’s (2010-11) highest United States Bowling Congress (USBC) average with a minimum of 21 games. If you did not have a 21 game average last season, you must use your highest USBC average – with 21 games or more – as of January 1, 2012. All others bowl scratch. 

You can find your highest USBC average at www.bowl.com. Click on "Find a Member" on the upper right side of the Home Page.  Search for your name, click on "League/Average," and find your highest average with 21 games from 2010-11. 

You can find your highest GCBA average by clicking on the average tab at this Web Site. 

Entries close and must be mailed by January 22, 2012. 

Get your entry in early to get your desired date and time. All entry blanks and correspondence should be sent to the Assistant Association Manager, Harold Rutz. His address is 2116 Salmon Drive , Highland , IL 62249. You may also reserve a date and time by calling Harold at 654-7838.
